
We are working with a growing CPA firm that partners with small to mid-sized businesses across a variety of industries. This role offers the opportunity to work with multiple clients, providing a blend of bookkeeping, accounting, and financial analysis within a collaborative, client-focused environment.
This position is open to both Accountant and Senior Accountant levels, depending on experience. The scope of responsibilities and client interaction will increase with experience.

Accountant (1 or more years of relevant experience; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting: familiarity with QuickBooks helpful)

Maintain financial records for multiple clients using QuickBooks

Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
-
Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and supporting schedules
-
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash activity

Prepare internal financial statements and assist with basic variance analysis

Research and resolve account discrepancies

Maintain organized client files and supporting documentation

Assist with year-end processes and coordination with tax/accounting teams

Support special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed

Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines effectively

Senior Accountant (5+ Years Experience ; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA-eligible preferred)

Oversee full-cycle accounting and month-end close for multiple clients

Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness

Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients and build strong relationships

Identify non-routine accounting issues and perform research to recommend solutions
-
Provide financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
-
Advise clients on financial performance, cash flow, and operational decisions
-
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
-
Assist with development and implementation of internal controls
-
Support and coordinate audit and tax processes as needed

Perform and review ad hoc reporting and proactively provide insights

Supervise and mentor staff; review work and provide coaching

Assist with proposals, client expansion opportunities, and business development efforts

Contribute to process improvements and best practices across engagements

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
