FINANCIAL ANALYST

THE DETAILS:

  • Analyze company financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules

  • Review historical financial performance, trends, margins, working capital, debt, and profitability

  • Assist in normalizing financial statements by identifying unusual, non-recurring, or discretionary items

  • Research industries, market trends, economic factors, competitors, and comparable companies

  • Perform database research using financial and market data sources to support valuation conclusions

  • Support valuation analyses for privately held and public companies, including equity analysis and company-specific risk considerations

  • Assist with the preparation of valuation models, schedules, charts, and supporting exhibits

  • Help draft valuation reports, including company background, industry overview, financial analysis, and valuation methodology sections

  • Gather and organize due diligence materials from clients, public sources, and third-party databases

  • Review client-provided information for completeness, consistency, and reasonableness

  • Prepare presentation materials and written work product for review by senior team members

  • Work with senior professionals to refine assumptions, support conclusions, and ensure reports are accurate and well-documented

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced professional services environment

  • Communicate professionally with internal team members, clients, executives, attorneys, CPAs, and other advisors as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance

  • 3.5 GPA

  • Internship or 1+ year of experience
