Combo role of virtual CFO services and tax leadership, supporting closely held businesses with cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis. Responsibilities include overseeing complex federal and state tax compliance and planning across multiple entity types, leading tax engagements, and supporting M&A and advisory projects. The role also involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, guiding clients through audits and regulatory matters, and serving as a trusted advisor to ownership. Ideal for a seasoned tax professional who enjoys client-facing work, leadership, and broad business advisory responsibilities.

Lead firmwide tax compliance, planning, and advisory across corporate, partnership, and individual clients

Serve as primary advisor on IRS and state matters, audits, projections, valuations, and transaction support

Oversee financial statement review, payroll filings, billing, and cash flow process improvements

Manage and mentor a team while acting as a virtual CFO partner to closely held businesses
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

Public accounting experience in Tax at the Senior level or above

A graduate of the University of New Orleans with a BS in Accounting and a licensed CPA, she began her career in Arthur Andersen's audit practice before transitioning into recruiting, where she led campus recruiting efforts across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Her passion for connecting exceptional people with outstanding companies has been the driving force behind Professional Recruiting for more than 20 years.
Known for her thoughtful approach, strong work ethic, and genuine desire to help others, Jennifer has built lasting relationships with clients and candidates throughout the Gulf South. She believes recruiting is about more than filling positions; it's about changing careers, strengthening businesses, and creating long-term success for everyone involved.
Outside the office, Jennifer is a proud wife, mom to four boys with two grandsons and two pups, her girls. Emily Lovitt joined Professional Recruiting in 2019 after building a career in corporate marketing. She earned her BS in Marketing from LSU and her MBA from the University of New Orleans, bringing a creative mindset and strong organizational skills to the recruiting industry.
